| Birthplace: Quispicanchis

Wilfredo and Raul are brothers, with five other siblings- three of their older sisters whom stay in another children’s home close by. They arrived on March 28, 2014, as authorities had removed them from an unhealthy living situation.  Their father is an alcoholic and their mother passed away earlier this year, and their older sister’s were caring for them in skimpy conditions.

Wilfredo’s maternal language is Quechua, but he is catching on quickly to the Spanish language, and has adjusted quite well.  We celebrated his 4th birthday shortly after the two arrived, and he has started pre-school this year in a bilingual Christian school close by. He loves to play outside and with trucks.

UPDATE: March 2016

Wilfredo is nearly six and is entering first grade this year. He plays really well with others, letting them take the lead, eager to follow in their play.
